For 50 years, R.C. COIL SPRING MFG. CO., INC. has delivered the finest quality precision springs, stampings, wire forms and 4-slide parts to a wide ranging customer base across the United States and the World.

From its beginnings, R.C. COIL SPRING MFG. CO., INC. has focused on ultimate customer satisfaction. The early design and development of specialized machinery for use in the production of rectangular springs for automobile starter drives, resulted in an immediate influx of business. Due to this, the company achieved financial stability and soon afterwards expanded into the manufacturing of stampings, wire forms and 4-slide parts.

Today, with our 57,000 square foot manufacturing facility, dedicated employees, our fully equipped tool room as well as a variety of state of the art equipment, R.C. COIL SPRING MFG. CO., INC. is well prepared to satisfy your most exacting needs. We look forward to working together to ultimately achieve a mutually satisfying relationship. Give us the opportunity to earn your trust – WE WILL NOT DISAPPOINT YOU!!

A Compression Spring is an elastic, helically coiled piece usually made of hardened steel, which applies a resistive force as it is compressed.

  • Manufactured to tight tolerances and stringent quality control standards.
  • Specializing in fine diameter, non-standard cross section, and specialty material wire.

An Extension Spring is a closed wound helical piece usually made of hardened steel and with looped ends, which applies a resistive force as it is extended.

  • Manufactured to tight tolerances and stringent quality control standards.
  • Specializing in fine diameter, non-standard cross section, and specialty material wire.

A Tapered Spring or Conical Spring is a compression spring whose outside diameter varies over its length. Usually a tapered spring has a small outside diameter at the top and a larger outside diameter at the bottom.

  • Manufactured to tight tolerances and stringent quality control standards.
  • Specializing in fine diameter, non-standard cross section, and specialty material wire

A Torsion Spring or Double Torsion Spring is a helical spring used to apply torque in a twisting fashion. This type of spring exerts force in a circular arc as its arms rotate around a central axis.

  • Manufactured to tight tolerances and stringent quality control standards.
  • Specializing in fine diameter, non-standard cross section, and specialty material wire

A Rectangular Spring is a compression spring that is formed in an oval shape as opposed to a cylindrical shape as most compression springs are.

  • Manufactured to tight tolerances and stringent quality control standards
  • Specializing in fine diameter, non-standard cross section, and specialty material wire
  • Formed over rectangular mandrel for special applications

Metal Stampings are produced from a sheet metal forming process through the use of a punch press, stamping press or fourslide machine. Stampings come in a variety of shapes and sizes, from very intricate small sizes to much larger configurations.

  • Manufactured to tight tolerances and stringent quality control standards
  • Specializing in exotic materials and flat springs

A Wire Form is made with the use of custom fourslide machinery which can take a variety of wire types and sizes and form it into an unlimited array of shapes and configurations.

  • Manufactured to tight tolerances and stringent quality control standards
  • Specializing in complex shapes

A Wire Ring is a one coil circular shaped form that is either connected at its ends or has a gap between its ends.

  • Manufactured to tight tolerances and stringent quality control standards
  • Fine diameter, non-standard cross section, and specialty material wire
